Vicente & Cristina Lainez

Bro. And his wife Cristina Vicente Lainez are the directors of the Department of Evangelism Life Center. They carry more than two years serving in the church, the brothers also help as ushers at the church. The brothers are Laínez country Honduras, his favorite pastime is to go fishing with his family and friends. The two brothers favorite verses Laínez sonIsaías 40:31 and Psalms 23.

Our mission is to bring the whole gospel to the whole world, which is the very definition of evangelism. Let us not confuse evangelism with evangelicalism, however. Iglesia Centro de Vida is neither just another evangelical church in Louisiana nor an evangelical Catholic church in Baton Rouge, but we are a church which is passionate about serving God and serving others!

In addition to our services, we foster several outreach programs. Each week, we sell gospel music and reading material in Spanish at the local flea market in Gonzales, Louisiana. We also host soccer matches and an annual Thanksgiving meal on our campus. We want to create a safe haven for Hispanics and non-Hispanics alike to come into the family of God, enjoy fellowship and the presence of the Lord.

Jesus told the church: “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” (Matthew 5:14). Regardless of whether or not you have been looking for an evangelical Catholic church in Baton Rouge or an evangelical church in Louisiana, we want you to know that in Gonzales, Louisiana, there is an apostolic church that has an ardent desire to evangelize and be a light to this dark world.

It is our goal to reach the world with the gospel of Christ. In 2008, we established a daughter work in La Union, El Salvador, and we hope to establish many more for the glory of God. To God be the glory!
